This explains what happens to your information when you use vanderwallbros.com. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us on (616) 842-4500 and a person will answer.
Who this is about
VanderWall Brothers, with showrooms in Spring Lake and Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are the ones who decide what happens to the information described here.
What you give us
There are three forms on this site, and they are the only places we ask you for anything.
- The quick inquiry form, which appears on most pages. Your name, phone number, email address, and what you are interested in.
- The contact page form. The same, plus which showroom suits you, a message, and a photo of your space if you choose to attach one.
- The careers form. Your name, phone number, email address, the kind of work you are looking for, a message, and your resume if you attach one.
All of it is optional. You can call us instead and send nothing at all.
What is collected without you typing anything
Like most websites, our host records ordinary technical information when a page loads: the IP address the request came from, the browser and device, the page requested, and the time. That is standard server logging and we do not use it to identify you.
We also use advertising and measurement tools, listed below, which set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. They tell us which advertising brings people to the site and let us show ads to people who have been here before. They do not tell us your name.

The videos on our help page do not load anything from YouTube until you press play. If you never press play, YouTube is never contacted.
What we do with it
- Answer your inquiry, quote your job, and arrange the work.
- Consider your application, if you applied for a job.
- Understand which advertising is working, so we spend money sensibly.
- Keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to market something unrelated to you.
Who else sees it
The companies in the table above, because they run parts of the site or our advertising on our behalf. Beyond that, only people who have to: our own staff, and installers or suppliers where your job requires it. We will also hand information over if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept as long as we may still reasonably do business with you. Applications are kept while the role is open, and afterwards if you asked us to keep you on file. If you want yours removed sooner, ask and we will remove it.
Your choices
- Ask us. Email sales@vanderwallbros.com and ask what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will not charge you for it.
- Cookies. Every browser can block or delete cookies. Doing so does not stop the site working.
- Advertising. You can turn off personalized ads with Meta and Google directly, or across many companies at once at optout.aboutads.info.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
